General Motors research and development lab manager Carlos Franca (right) shows what's under the hood of a GM fuel cell demonstration car at the Dull Family Homestead, which has a fueling station made by Millennium Reign Energy LLC, Saturday, October 15, 2011. Below the main compartment in the center is a hyrdogen to electric coverter, and an electric motor, powered as the car converts hydrogen in the fuel cells to electricity. The only by-product of the on-board process is water, so the car is said to be zero-emission.
